Description

You will own the development of API Core Engineering tools, frameworks, and pipelines to improve developer productivity and SDLC processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications and frameworks using Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Build CI/CD pipeline tools and automation using GitLab, Python, and Shell Scripts.
• Write comprehensive unit tests using Jest, Mocha, Chai, or equivalent frameworks.
• Support the API platform by managing upgrades and resolving adoption issues for consumer teams.
• Design and implement APIs and microservices using REST standards.

Required Skills

• 3-5+ years of software development experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Python programming and scripting.
• Experience building applications on public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, specifically GitLab, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Experience with API Gateway solutions, specifically Kong.
• Strong understanding of source version control (Git).
• Ability to develop and maintain robust unit tests.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
