Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
• Optimize backend systems for low latency and high availability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into existing backend architectures.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues across services and databases.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and architects to define and deliver new features.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher) and object-oriented programming.
• Expertise in API design and development using REST and SOAP.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka or other messaging queues and event-driven architectures.
• Exposure to TDD/BDD and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
