Description

You will design, implement, and maintain APIs, microservices, and backend components.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java RESTful services that integrate with external client systems.
• Create technical designs for new systems and translate detailed requirements into functional system designs.
• Build new features at scale by collaborating with other API developers.
• Improve API standards and services across the team.
• Research and recommend functional libraries to expedite development.
• Conduct unit testing for Java and JavaScript code.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• 6+ years of experience with RESTful or SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• 3+ years of experience with Angular, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Proficiency with XML and JSON.
• Experience using GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD workflows.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Git.
• Experience with Swagger and APIGEE.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mainframe application migration.
