Description

Design, develop, and maintain complex applications with a primary focus on building and integrating APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Integration Architect to produce high-level design documents and guide developers through low-level design implementation.
• Lead API modules and Scrum teams, providing technical guidance to local and offshore developers.
• Design, build, and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP protocols.
• Implement data transformations using Spring Boot, Python, or Node.js.
• Secure APIs through SSL certificates, authentication methods, and other security measures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in API development.
• Expertise in REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud Computing services and technologies.
• Proficiency in at least one language for data transformation: Spring Boot, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with API Platform, YAML, and Developer Portals.
• Experience using API linting tools.
• Practical knowledge of securing APIs and implementing SSL certificates.
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and DevOps automation principles.

Preferred Skills

• Perform code reviews, impact analysis, and JUnit test case implementations.
• Document technical designs and runbooks to ensure solution maintainability.
