Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend APIs and cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop REST and GraphQL APIs using Python (FastAPI), ensuring idempotent endpoints, pagination, and filtering.
• Design PostgreSQL schemas and optimize complex queries for performance.
• Implement security standards including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and RBAC.
• Manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build or GitHub Actions and ensure observability via OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python.
• Strong expertise in API design using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services: GKE, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Composer (Airflow).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code (Terraform/Helm).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and testing strategies (Unit, Integration, Contract).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Airflow DAGs, Pub/Sub, and event-driven architecture.
• Understanding of multi-tenancy patterns.
