Description

You will build and manage enterprise APIs using IBM API Management and Java microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop API Proxies with policy configurations on IBM API Connect.
• Implement REST and SOAP APIs, Plans, and Security Policies using IBM API Management.
• Develop microservices utilizing Java/J2EE while adhering to API design principles.
• Manage API security, authentication, and authorization using protocols like OAuth2.0 and SAML.
• Automate deployments and manage infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of IT industry experience.
• 4+ years experience with IBM EAI tools (IBM API Connect, IBM App connect, IBM MQ).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful Architecture and Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE and building APIs (REST and GraphQL).
• Hands-on experience with OAuth2.0, SAML, JWT, and SSO.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Nexus).
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration.
