Description

You will design, build, and secure enterprise APIs using Apigee X, Hybrid, or Edge.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom policies and integration workflows using JavaScript or Java.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, SAML, and JWT.
• Design event-driven architectures utilizing Pub/Sub, synchronous, and asynchronous communication patterns.
• Conduct API testing, validation, and monitoring with Apigeelint, Postman, and Apickli.
• Manage API specifications using OpenAPI (Swagger) and maintain version control via Git.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Apigee X, Apigee Hybrid, Application Integration, or Apigee Edge.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or Java for backend logic and custom policy development.
• Deep understanding of REST principles, JSON, and XML data formats.
• Expertise in security protocols including TLS/mTLS, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and JWT.
• Experience with integration design patterns such as event-driven architecture and workflow orchestration.
• Proficiency with Apigeelint, Postman, Git, Apickli, and Cloud Logging.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenAPI Specification (Swagger) for API documentation and validation.
