Description

Design and build APIs for external applications connecting to Workday ERP, managing the full lifecycle from analysis to testing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and code APIs for future-state ancillary systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts and testing leads to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship on AWS data solution optimization.
• Perform end-to-end analysis, coding, and testing within a small team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Proficiency with Python.
• AWS services: S3, Lambda, ECS, and Athena.
• Experience with Apigee API management.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Proficiency with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Workday implementation experience.
• AWS certifications related to data engineering or databases.
• Experience working within Higher Ed institutions.
