Description

You will design, develop, and implement complex integration architectures and web services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SOAP and REST web services using XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, BEPL, and other data integration techniques.
• Implement integration components using ESQL or Java within IBM WebSphere Message Broker, IBM Integration Bus, and IBM WebSphere MQ.
• Manage data modeling and transformation engine workflows to support SOA and messaging requirements.
• Develop and maintain middleware components across various application servers, BPMs, and message brokers.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on Red Hat OpenShift.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional IT experience with at least 5 years focused on integration and architecture.
• 7+ years of experience with IBM Data Power (XML Appliance) and WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX).
• Expertise in IBM WebSphere Message Broker (WMB), IBM Integration Bus (IIB), and IBM WebSphere MQ.
• Proficiency in ESQL, Java/J2EE (including EJBs, JCA, and JTA), and JMS.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container management via Kubernetes or Mesos on Red Hat OpenShift.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages including Java/J2EE, JavaScript, COBOL, and C.
• Experience with databases including DB2, MySQL, and NoSQL solutions like MongoDB.
• Working knowledge of messaging solutions such as Kafka and WMQ.
• Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, Linux, and MVS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ESB, BRMS, and various middleware technologies.
