Description

Design, develop, and maintain APIs for web and mobile applications. Own the release pipeline and ensure production stability.

Responsibilities

• Design APIs using Swagger, code generation, and mock data generation.
• Implement API security, authentication mechanisms, and manage Spring Cloud API Gateway.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to define requirements and documentation for developer portals.
• Monitor API performance using NewRelic, ELK, and Prometheus to troubleshoot issues.
• Provide production support and manage automated API testing workflows.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Cloud API Gateway.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and GitHub Packages.
• Hands-on experience with JUnit and automated API testing.
• Familiarity with Scala and Node.js.
• Experience with Python, Kotlin, or C#.
• Knowledge of integrating with COTS such as Salesforce and Twilio.
• Experience with Loggly and ELK stack.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Elastic, Customer.io, and Excel macros.
