Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable API specifications using OpenAPI/YAML with a focus on data security.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for API build, deployment, and integration.
• Collaborate with application teams to define and implement API requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date API documentation and ensure design quality.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues to prevent recurrence.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience developing enterprise-wide solutions using Java, J2EE, Web Services, Spring, Spring Boot, and Python.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Integration microservices.
• Proficiency with Swagger, Swagger Hub, and API Gateway tools like Apigee.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud products.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies (Kanban or SCRUM).
• Understanding of security protocols including OAuth and SAML.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, caching strategies, and API governance.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
