Description

Design, implement, and test workforce experience project initiatives and solution components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business and technical problems, prototyping new solution components and frameworks.
• Research and integrate new tools to ensure product-to-business problem fit.
• Perform capacity planning and sizing for performance, throughput, and scalability.
• Deliver system artifacts including logical/physical models, UML diagrams, and deployment diagrams.
• Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) aligned with project objectives and the current application stack.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and application design.
• Mastery of Java and the J2SE ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of the JVM ecosystem, memory models, tuning, threading, and reactive streams.
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud deployment (Cloud Foundry, IBM, or Microsoft Azure).
• Proficiency in *nix (Unix, Linux) environments and shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of the testing pyramid (unit, functional, integration, system, and API testing) and TDD/BDD approaches.
• Practical experience with application security technologies and approaches.
• Ability to design for availability, reliability, manageability, performance, and scalability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager 6.x, HTML5, CSS3, LESS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with jQuery, Angular.js, Node.js, or React.
