Description

You will build and maintain secure, containerized APIs using Python and FastAPI.

Since is_remote, hybrid, and on_site are all 0, no work-mode line is included.

Responsibilities

• Develop RESTful APIs using the FastAPI framework and Python 3.
• Deploy microservices within Docker containers and manage container orchestration.
• Implement security protocols including SSL, authentication, and audit trails.
• Write unit and functional tests to ensure high code coverage and reliability.
• Document product development and deployment processes in Confluence.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in API development.
• Proficient hands-on experience with Python 3.
• Experience developing APIs using the FastAPI framework.
• Experience deploying microservices using Docker containers.
• Knowledge of security standards including SSL, endpoint exposure, and authentication.
• Ability to write unit and functional tests.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience writing Dockerfiles and Docker Compose files for orchestration.
• Experience using Ansible, Splunk, and debugging connectivity or unresponsive APIs.
