Description

You will develop and maintain REST APIs on IBM z/OS Connect, exposing CICS and DB2 transactions through modern API contracts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain API service definitions, mappings, and YAML configurations.
• Develop OpenAPI specifications aligned with enterprise standards.
• Configure authentication using JWT, OAuth, OIDC, RACF, and certificates.
• Implement CI/CD deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and Gradle.
• Troubleshoot performance, security, and connectivity issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing REST APIs.
• Deep knowledge of IBM z/OS Connect.
• Proficiency with CICS, DB2, and COBOL.
• Experience creating OpenAPI specifications for JSON/XML.
• Strong understanding of RACF and certificate-based authentication.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with APIM as an enterprise API gateway.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
