Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of API Gateway operations and policy development. You own the deployment, configuration, tuning, and monitoring of CA API Gateways and CA API Developer Portals. You design reusable API policy components and manage their lifecycle through development, testing, and migration. You execute CA API Gateway operations including backups, performance monitoring, and system cleanup. You maintain CA Policy Manager and utilize the Gateway Migration Utility for system upgrades. You implement security standards using the CA OAuth 2.0 Toolkit, PKI, SSL, and SSH.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reusable API policy components across development, testing, and migration stages.
• Deploy, configure, tune, and monitor CA API Gateways and CA API Developer Portals.
• Execute operational tasks including backups, performance monitoring, and system cleanup.
• Maintain CA Policy Manager and perform system upgrades using the Gateway Migration Utility.
• Implement security standards using CA OAuth 2.0 Toolkit, PKI, SSL, and SSH.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API engineering and gateway management.
• Expertise with CA API Gateway, CA API Developer Portal, and CA Policy Manager.
• Proficiency in REST services, XML, JSON, and Web APIs.
• Strong Unix/Linux OS skills for deployment, application installation, and resource monitoring.
• Deep understanding of security protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and WS Security.
• Practical knowledge of networking components such as DMZ, Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
• Experience with LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory, and PKI implementations.
• Ability to manage route configurations, firewall ports, and communication flow.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
