Description

You will own the engineering of the global API platform, managing Apigee infrastructure and integration processes. You will design secure, scalable API solutions and automate their deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain the Apigee platform (Apigee X/Hybrid), including keystores, truststores, and KVMs.
• Design and implement solutions for traffic control, API security, throttling, caching, and logging.
• Develop API proxies and REST APIs, including converting web services between SOAP and REST formats.
• Create custom policies using Java, JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.
• Standardize CI/CD setups for API management tools and automate deployment pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API Management and Apigee configurations.
• Hands-on experience with Apigee X or Apigee Hybrid.
• Proficiency in Java, Node.js, Python, or JavaScript for custom policy development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP services, including XML and JSON.
• Experience with DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux servers.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD workflows and Maven.
• Ability to perform vulnerability assessments and implement cybersecurity measures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud and Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Harness, or Ansible.
