Description

You will design, develop, and manage secure API architectures and gateway implementations for US-based teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define overall API architecture and implement management platforms.
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP policies, including transformations using XSLT.
• Secure data channels using SAML, IAM integration, and OAuth 2.
• Perform content-based routing and publish internal services to the internet.
• Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues using Splunk, Azure Dashboards, or Event Hub.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in API gateway development and security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM) and analytics.
• Expertise with Broadcom CA Layer 7 API Gateway.
• Proficiency with REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Deep knowledge of XML, JSON, and XSLT transformations.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and structured SDLC environments.
• Strong understanding of SAML, IAM, and OAuth 2 protocols.
• Experience with Azure Functions and Logic Apps for serverless integration.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Preferred Skills

• Background as a Business Analyst for technical requirement documentation.
• Knowledge of Mod Security and SQL execution on industry-standard databases.
