You will design, implement, and manage API security policies and governance using the Broadcom Layer 7 API Gateway.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API security policies, authentication mechanisms, and rate-limiting strategies.
• Configure API proxies, manage traffic flow, and enforce access control and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot and optimize API performance, scalability, and integration points.
• Implement logging, auditing, and monitoring for API traffic and security compliance.
• Support API lifecycle management, versioning, and governance best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Broadcom Layer 7 API Gateway (CA API Gateway).
• Proficiency in policy development using Layer 7 Policy Manager.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, and API keys.
• Hands-on experience with SOAP and RESTful APIs and traffic management.
• Experience integrating with LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, and Identity Providers.
• Scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Groovy, or XML for policy customization.
• Experience with API logging and monitoring tools.

Preferred Skills

• Broadcom Layer 7 API Gateway Certification.
• API Security or Identity & Access Management (IAM) certification.
