Description

You will administer, configure, and support the Layer 7 API Gateway platform, enabling secure and scalable API integrations across enterprise environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure the Layer 7 API Gateway platform, managing policy management, service configuration, and API publishing.
• Collaborate with middleware and application teams to implement secure API integrations using OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS, and SAML.
• Monitor API traffic and incidents, performing root cause analysis to ensure high availability and quick resolution.
• Maintain API documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures for versioning and governance.
• Troubleshoot and debug API requests using Layer 7 logs, managing rate limiting, throttling, and routing policies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, API development, and distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Broadcom CA Layer 7 API Gateway.
• 5+ years of experience in API design and development, including RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Deep knowledge of security standards: OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, SSO, ADFS, and WS-Trust.
• Experience with Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and cloud networking.
• Proficiency in debugging, testing, and production support of enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC, backlog management, and working with product owners.
• Understanding of system integration patterns and ground-to-cloud connectivity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK).
• Exposure to multi-region and multi-cloud architectures.
