Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable API infrastructure for internal and external applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API requirements and specifications with software engineers and product managers.
• Apply best practices for API design, versioning, security, and documentation.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability through continuous monitoring, testing, and tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues to ensure minimal service disruption.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API development or infrastructure roles.
• Proficiency with Java and Python.
• Experience with NGINX or comparable technologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Strong understanding of HTTP and HTTP/2 protocols.
• Experience managing and optimizing API infrastructure.
• Degree in any graduate field.
