Description

You will design and deliver secure, scalable API integration solutions for core banking systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the API integration architecture using iPaaS tools.
• Lead the design and implementation of integrations with third-party REST and SOAP APIs.
• Implement token-based authentication, authorization, and enforce API gateway policies.
• Establish API lifecycle management best practices using Swagger and OpenAPI specifications.
• Guide development teams on API design patterns, governance, and documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or integration design.
• Expertise in Design Center, Runtime Manager, and API Manager.
• Hands-on experience with API Gateway, OAuth2.0, JWT, and Client Credentials Flow.
• Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API mocking tools.
• Experience integrating backend technologies including .NET Core, Java Spring Boot, NodeJS, and Python.
• Proficiency in enterprise integration patterns, error handling, logging, and monitoring.
• Understanding of 15-factor app principles, asynchronous messaging, and resilience patterns like retry and circuit breakers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Code Connect.
• Experience with iPaaS tools such as Boomi, Apigee, or Azure API Management.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
