Description

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and APIs, owning the full lifecycle from requirements to deployment on OpenShift.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
• Design and optimize SQL queries for Oracle databases, writing PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Build and maintain event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for real-time data processing and streaming pipelines.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and deploy scalable applications on OpenShift.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on coaching for junior engineers in microservices development and system architecture.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot framework and microservices architecture.
• Extensive experience with Oracle Database, including complex PL/SQL development.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven design.
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Experience deploying and managing containerized applications on OpenShift.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and code review best practices.
