Description

You will design, develop, and deploy scalable RESTful and event-driven microservices using Java Spring Boot. You own the full lifecycle from domain-driven design and API implementation to Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment and observability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop resilient microservices with DDD principles, implementing circuit breakers, retries, and bulkhead patterns.
• Build asynchronous messaging solutions using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ, and implement event sourcing with CQRS patterns.
• Deploy and manage services on Kubernetes and OpenShift, creating Docker containers, Helm charts, and IaC via Terraform or Ansible.
• Implement API security with OAuth 2.0 and JWT, and manage API versioning, rate limiting, and gateway integrations.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows with ArgoCD/Flux, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Splunk.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Strong proficiency in building RESTful APIs and GraphQL schemas.
• Experience with message brokers: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Hands-on deployment and management on Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.
• Knowledge of microservices patterns: DDD, event sourcing, saga, and distributed transactions.
• API security implementation using OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and configuration management (Helm, Terraform, Ansible).
• Ability to write unit tests (JUnit, Mockito) and integration tests (TestContainers).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with service mesh architectures (Istio, Linkerd) and distributed tracing (Jaeger, Zipkin).
• Familiarity with polyglot persistence strategies and database migration tools (Flyway, Liquibase).
