Description

You will build and maintain the tooling and infrastructure that powers the REST API lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and libraries for REST API creation and management using Java SpringBoot, Lua, and Go.
• Design, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and stages.
• Implement a schema registry to manage proposals, version control, and breaking change detection.
• Establish processes for schema change control, error sanitization, and security standards.
• Build monitoring systems to track error rates, latency metrics, and field usage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java, Lua, and Go.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining REST APIs and plugins.
• Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and writing SQL queries for data migration.
• Experience with Git and collaborative version control.
• Practical experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) for debugging.
• Experience using Maven for Java build management.
• Proficiency with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kong plugin development using Lua or Go.
• Familiarity with Harness using YAML templates for CI/CD.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
