Description

You will lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of API-led products and microservices. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement API standards and governance for an integration tier focused on self-service.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features, optimizations, dependencies, and risks.
• Lead SCRUM teams on a day-to-day basis, conducting refinement and presenting outcomes to stakeholders.
• Ensure API products are secure, interoperable, and scalable to support complex business interactions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to maintain a cohesive user experience.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building and launching APIs, including B2C and microservices.
• Proven track record as a Technical Product Owner in a recent role.
• Deep knowledge of REST, OpenAPI, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
• Experience managing API platform stacks, specifically SAP and non-SAP environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP API Management, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Integration, and SAP Event Mesh.
• Proficiency with Azure API Management.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including SAFe.
• Expertise in security, compliance, and data protection within regulated industries.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience as an API Manager in an enterprise setting.
