Description

Lead the design, development, and deployment of web services within a microservices architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and develop web services using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Document APIs using Swagger and OpenAPI standards.
• Manage API lifecycles using tools like Apigee and Postman.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth and JWT.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Expert-level Java development, including recent versions and Spring frameworks.
• Proficiency with Java, Python, and Node.js.
• Experience with Express.js and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as ReadyAPI, SOAPUI, Postman, or JMeter.
• Experience with API management tools including Apigee and Swagger.
• Solid understanding of OAuth and JWT mechanisms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying services to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
