Description

You will own backend functional testing for payments and banking systems, focusing on mainframe and middleware components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing of backend systems, including mainframe and middleware components.
• Validate and compare JSON and XML data structures to ensure data integrity.
• Design and execute test cases for batch jobs and message queues.
• Track and manage defects through resolution.
• Support integration testing and automation efforts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend testing.
• Expertise in API testing using Postman.
• Proficiency in Python and Pytest.
• Experience validating JSON and XML data.
• Knowledge of mainframe and middleware technologies, including MQ and ESB.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Java.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile frameworks.
• Background in financial services, specifically payments and banking systems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Bruno.
