API Test Engineer

You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for APIs, products, and platforms. You execute tasks independently from inception to completion, ensuring comprehensive test coverage by collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute independent testing tasks from inception to completion with minimal assistance.
• Implement and maintain Continuous Integration solutions for API and service testing.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize execution and report results.
• Promote QA productivity through automation, tooling, and testing best practices.
• Raise QA standards by implementing high-quality testing practices and strategies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in API and service testing (SOAP/REST).
• Expertise in test planning, estimation, strategy, test case design, and defect management.
• Proficiency with web service technologies including XML, REST, SOAP, and JSON.
• Deep understanding of HTTP requests and protocols.
• Hands-on experience with RAML/Open API specifications.
• Experience working within SAFe Agile methodologies.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and MuleSoft.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO, ADO ATP), Postman, Newman, and SOAPUI.
• Ability to use database query tools.
