API Test Engineer with Python

You will own the end-to-end validation and automation of API functionalities across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test cases for positive, negative, boundary, and stress scenarios.
• Write automated test scripts using Python, Java, or JavaScript to interact with RESTful services.
• Execute automated tests across dev, staging, and production environments while monitoring for anomalies.
• Integrate automated API tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct performance testing to evaluate response times, throughput, and scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API testing and automation.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Postman and SoapUI.
• Deep understanding of RESTful web services, HTTP, and JSON.
• Experience using test frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
• Familiarity with database concepts for data validation.
