Description

You will own the test strategy and automation for high-volume, modern API platforms, ensuring scalable and resilient distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish test strategy and plan for modern, high-volume serving API platforms.
• Build automated integration tests for RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Java, Python, and SQL.
• Mentor SDETs on testable system design and automation engineering best practices.
• Integrate API validation into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and AWS.
• Triage production and integration issues reported by API consumers.

Required Skills

• Expert-level experience in API development and integration testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python for building programmatic API tests.
• Experience writing tests using JSON, REST Assured, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems design.
• Proficiency integrating API validation into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Experience with AWS platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with resiliency, performance, and security test automation.
• Experience with GraphQL API testing.
