Description

You will design, develop, and execute automated testing frameworks for API and UI layers.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop API and UI automated test scripts to ensure functional requirements are met.
• Utilize Guidewire software to test insurance applications against business and technical specifications.
• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and provide actionable improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to ensure full testing coverage.
• Maintain detailed documentation for test plans, scripts, results, and JIRA QE boards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API and UI testing, specifically within personal and commercial insurance applications.
• Proficiency with Guidewire software and the GW GT Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Postman, and SOAP UI.
• Strong background in Java/J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, JPA).
• Experience with XML and Gosu for application integration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including JavaScript and Python.
• Experience using Jenkins and Git.
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
• Knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations.
