Description

You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of APIs using the Apigee platform, including proxy development, migration, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement API proxies using Apigee Edge.
• Execute migration of existing APIs to the Apigee platform while maintaining business continuity.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for API proxies and configurations following testing and deployment best practices.
• Manage Apigee platform components, including runtime, analytics, and the developer portal.
• Maintain technical documentation for the Apigee platform and associated APIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an API Engineer, specifically with Apigee Edge.
• Proven experience migrating APIs to the Apigee platform.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful services and API design.
• Working knowledge of HTTP, XML, and JSON.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of security concepts including OAuth, JWT, API Keys, and TLS.
