Description

You will lead API migration projects and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of APIs on the Apigee platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement API proxies using Apigee Edge.
• Execute end-to-end API migrations to the Apigee platform while minimizing business disruption.
• Optimize CI/CD processes specifically for Apigee migration and deployment.
• Manage Apigee platform components including runtime, analytics, and the developer portal.
• Maintain technical documentation for the Apigee platform and associated APIs.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as an API Engineer with a focus on Apigee migration.
• Proficiency in Apigee, JavaScript, Node.js, and RESTful services.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Deep understanding of network protocols and data formats including HTTP, XML, and JSON.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex API issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Apigee certification.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud platform.
• Knowledge of security concepts including OAuth, JWT, API Keys, and TLS.
