Description

You will lead API architecture, governance, and migration efforts using Apigee Hybrid and Apigee Edge Gateway.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API proxies, API facades, and developer portals using Apigee.
• Manage the migration from IBM API Connect to Apigee On-Prem.
• Secure APIs using OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
• Drive integration efforts and manage API publication, products, and versioning.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in an architect role.
• Hands-on expertise with Apigee Hybrid and Apigee Edge Gateway.
• Proficiency in REST, JSON, SOAP, and XML protocols and formats.
• Experience with API modeling and annotation using YAML, Swagger, and RAML.
• Strong knowledge of message transformation using JavaScript, XSLT, and Java.
• Experience writing and working with Swagger definitions.
• Deep understanding of REST API design principles and best practices.
• Experience with API security standards including OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
