Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and management of the Apigee API platform to support enterprise business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure APIs and develop API strategies aligned with business requirements.
• Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of the Apigee management platform.
• Manage the full API lifecycle, including creation, versioning, publishing, and retirement.
• Implement security measures such as OAuth and API keys to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Integrate APIs with backend systems, databases, and cloud services while optimizing performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API architecture or management.
• In-depth knowledge of the Apigee API management platform.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Hands-on experience with API security, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Proven ability to integrate APIs with backend systems and enterprise databases.
• Experience managing API projects from planning through execution and monitoring.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving complex API issues.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications in Apigee or other API management platforms.
• Familiarity with additional API management tools.
