Description

You will own the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of the Apigee API platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of Apigee APIs, including creation, versioning, publishing, and retirement.
• Design RESTful APIs that meet application requirements and business goals.
• Implement security protocols, including OAuth and API keys, to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Integrate APIs with backend systems, databases, and cloud services for seamless data flow.
• Monitor performance, apply optimization techniques like caching, and troubleshoot platform issues.

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of the Apigee API management platform.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience integrating APIs with backend systems and enterprise applications.
• Proven ability to manage API projects through planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technical troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with other API management tools.
• Relevant certifications in Apigee or other API management platforms.
