Description

Lead the design and implementation of scalable API solutions using Apigee.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and prototype cloud-deployed, DevOps-enabled solutions aligned with architecture standards.
• Create and maintain proxies, policies, and developer portal products within Apigee.
• Execute migrations from Apigee Edge to Apigee X and work with DevSecOps to create automated deployment workflows.
• Implement common APIs following architecture guidelines for logging, authentication, security, and error recovery.
• Lead teams in building new APIs through close collaboration with analysts, developers, testers, and customers in agile environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API management and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Apigee Edge and Apigee X.
• Proven experience performing migrations from Apigee Edge to Apigee X.
• Proficiency with Apigee and API development.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to participate in technical design discussions and finalize decisions with senior leadership.
• Experience working within agile development practices.
