Description

You will lead the architectural transition from on-premises Apigee to Apigee Hybrid, providing technical leadership for platform design, implementation, and support.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation and migration from Apigee on-prem to Apigee Hybrid.
• Manage and configure the API Gateway to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Oversee daily operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and platform maintenance.
• Implement and enforce best practices for API design, security, and performance.
• Mentor team members on Apigee tools and best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java development or mission-critical development/support engagements.
• Proven experience with Apigee or similar API management software in mission-critical environments.
• Deep understanding of API management concepts and best practices.
• Experience with Apigee administration, configuration, and development.
• Familiarity with Apigee Hybrid deployment architecture.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands.
• Experience with Cassandra or similar database technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DevOps, Python, Splunk, or AppDynamics.
• Experience with API security protocols and cloud hybrid deployment models.
