Description

You will lead the design, development, and deployment of API solutions using the Apigee API Management platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of API proxies using Apigee Edge and Hybrid.
• Define API architecture and establish API governance frameworks.
• Implement security best practices including OAuth, JWT, and API keys.
• Manage the full API product lifecycle, including versioning and retirement.
• Collaborate with application teams to define and implement API strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Apigee API Management (Apigee Edge, Apigee X, or Hybrid).
• Expertise in RESTful API design and architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Apigee platforms including proxy development, analytics, and CI/CD integration.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth2, traffic management, and API security.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with networking requirements across Edge Cloud, OPDK, Hybrid, and X.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apigee Developer Portal.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms and performance optimization techniques.
