Description

You will design, develop, and manage APIs using the Apigee Edge platform, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of API proxies, policies, and middleware integrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop API proxies and configure policies within Apigee Edge.
• Design, troubleshoot, and maintain RESTful APIs and middleware integrations.
• Convert web services between SOAP and REST protocols.
• Write Open API specifications and manage API onboarding to the developer portal.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in an Apigee developer role or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Apigee Edge and Apigee API Management.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs and SOAP web services.
• Proficiency with HTTP, OAuth, and related middleware standards.
• Experience writing Open API specs and using Swagger-UI or SmartDocs.
• Ability to design and implement complex API policies.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
