Description

You will design, build, and manage API gateways using Apigee Edge, X, or Hybrid environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Apigee policies for traffic management, security, and transformation.
• Define and enforce API management standards, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and TLS.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements into technical API specifications.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members on architectural best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across front-end interfaces and back-end services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apigee (Edge, X, or Hybrid).
• Deep understanding of API management concepts and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, and HTTP protocols.
• Experience configuring API security standards including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong Java development skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hybrid cloud deployments.
• Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams.
