Description

You will design, implement, and optimize API proxy configurations and integrations using Apigee Hybrid.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable Apigee configurations, including shared flows, flow hooks, and authentication mechanisms.
• Optimize API proxy configurations to ensure compliance with organizational and customer best practices.
• Provide technical guidance on API designs and Apigee implementations to cross-functional teams.
• Analyze requirements to assess feasibility, effort, dependencies, and potential bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, security, and infrastructure teams on GCP and Kubernetes deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Apigee Hybrid or Edge architecture.
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML standards.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and TLS/mTLS configurations.
• Proficiency in client/server certificates, IP whitelisting, and network security principles.
• Experience with GCP, GKE, operating systems, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise network architecture and identity providers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Bitbucket and Splunk for version control and monitoring.
