You will design, implement, and optimize API proxy configurations and reusable components to support end-to-end integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review and optimize API proxy configurations to ensure compliance with organizational and customer best practices.
• Design reusable configurations, including shared flows and flow hooks, and implement authentication mechanisms.
• Provide technical guidance on API designs and Apigee implementations.
• Analyze requirements to identify risks, dependencies, and feasibility, escalating issues as needed.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, security, and infrastructure teams on network and operations reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Apigee Hybrid Architecture.
• Strong understanding of GCP, Kubernetes, operating systems, firewalls, load balancers, and enterprise network architecture.
• Hands-on experience with client/server certificates, TLS configurations, and IP whitelisting.
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP API design.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 and JWT authentication standards.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-timezone teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with log analysis tools like Splunk.
