Description

You will develop and support API management solutions using Apigee X and Apigee Edge, owning the lifecycle of API proxies, policies, and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage API proxies and policies within Apigee X and Apigee Edge.
• Implement traffic management, mediation, security, and extension policies.
• Monitor system performance using Grafana and log monitoring tools.
• Generate custom reports regarding API performance metrics.
• Collaborate with clients through regular meeting cadences.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API development and management.
• Hands-on expertise with Apigee X and Apigee Edge.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Working knowledge of Apache.
• Practical application of traffic management and mediation techniques.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Ability to manage API security and extension policies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Grafana for system and log monitoring.
