Description

Design, develop, and deploy APIs using Apigee.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage API proxies, products, developers, and developer apps.
• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, and Basic Authentication.
• Configure Apigee policies for rate limiting, caching, traffic management, and mediation.
• Integrate APIs with backend applications and microservices.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot production issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API management and integration.
• Hands-on experience with Apigee for API design, proxy development, and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in API security implementation (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, Basic Authentication).
• Experience configuring Apigee policies for rate limiting, caching, and traffic management.
• Strong understanding of API integration with microservices.
• Knowledge of API monitoring and CI/CD-based API deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to the Google platform.
