Description

You will design, develop, and maintain API infrastructure and proxies using the Apigee Edge platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop REST APIs and API proxies using Apigee Edge to manage lifecycle processes.
• Implement API layer requirements including security, throttling, caching, logging, and request/response modifications.
• Build shared flows for error handling, security, and other common scenarios.
• Convert web services between SOAP and REST formats using the API management platform.
• Lead root cause analysis sessions for production issues to implement preventative solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of application design and development experience in cloud environments.
• Expert knowledge of REST API/service patterns, JSON, and SOAP.
• Hands-on experience with Apigee Edge for designing API facades and developer portals.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and JSON.
• Experience with Drupal development using PHP, HTML, XHTML, CSS, XSLT, and jQuery.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and API documentation using Swagger.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Node JS, Angular JS, or Fireburg scripting technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
