Description

You will design, develop, and support APIs using the Apigee platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs using Apigee policies and JavaScript business logic.
• Define REST API and JSON specifications and collaborate on specs with other teams.
• Create API mocks and integrate them with backend systems of record.
• Manage code via GitHub, including creating workflows and performing pull request reviews.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code while defining API test cases.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in API development.
• Expertise with Apigee and JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of REST API and JSON specifications.
• Proficiency with GitHub and Git workflows.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Working knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and CI/CD processes.
• Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience working within DevOps methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps environments.
