Description

You will deliver API gateway solutions to support the API Platform and Product Roadmap, including migrating APIs from legacy DataPower instances to Apigee.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full API lifecycle, including configuring APIs, API proxies, routes, and flows.
• Deploy programmable and configurable proxies within a hybrid deployment model.
• Implement security protocols including authorization, authentication, certificates, and encryption (mTLS and OAuth).
• Design technical solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform regular monitoring and health checks on the API gateway environment.

Required Skills

• 8 to 10 years of experience in API development and gateway administration.
• Deep expertise in Apigee configuration, administration, and proxy deployment.
• Hands-on experience with IBM DataPower components and troubleshooting DataPower services.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Strong command of XSLT and JavaScript for API logic.
• Experience with Web Service Proxies, Multi-protocol Gateways, and XML Firewall Proxies.
• Solid understanding of Web Services and RESTful services.
