Description

You will design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs using Java while managing the API proxy lifecycle on the Apigee platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java and related technologies.
• Write, configure, and maintain API proxies on Apigee (OPDK).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug issues on API Gateway platforms.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to align API solutions with business requirements.
• Implement security models and OAuth concepts within API workflows.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing and developing APIs using Java.
• Hands-on experience writing API proxies on the Apigee platform.
• Proven experience designing well-defined RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Splunk, Swagger, Postman, and Assertible.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for API Gateways.
• Understanding of security models and OAuth concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of APIs.
