Description

You will design and develop API proxies and REST APIs using API management platforms. You will implement security policies including OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, and throttling. You will manage API integration design principles and idempotency for REST APIs. You will support implementation projects using the Layer 7 CA API platform. You will configure and manage GCP managed services including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Load Balancers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop API proxies and REST APIs using API management platforms.

Required Skills

• 7 to 9 years of hands-on development expertise with the Layer 7 platform and Apigee.
• Deep knowledge of Apigee proxy creation, structure, and core concepts.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) managed services like Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API management.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery.
• Solid grasp of API security protocols and integration design.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
